Color Theory in Digital Photography
During our Composition Unit students focused on contrast for a variety of projects diving deeply into color contrast. This opened up an opportunity for better understanding in Color Theory. Throughout various photographing and editing projects students explored complimentary colors, colorful vs. neutral, and warm vs. cool colors.
Digital Self Portrait
Students were encouraged to reflect on what the questions "What makes you, YOU?", based on what they brainstormed they proceeded to find visual representations for their list. Using the online web editing program Pixlr, students created a digital self portrait from a tutorial video while keeping in mind the knowledge they gained throughout the semester on composition and design.
