  • Long term substitute digital photography teacher for the full school year in the technology department. 

  • Taught high schools students grades 9-12 in digital photography I & II through zoom.

  • Created and implemented a full curriculum online that allowed students to explore the digital photography and editing world using the online programs Pixlr & Canvas. Students used their phones as their camera option.

  • Students gained knowledge in digital manipulation, photography composition, and digital literacy as well as ways to express themselves through the digital photography medium. Allowing them to apply it to their lives outside of the classroom.

  • Collaborated with my department to create the curriculum and enhance students experience during  remote learning.

  • Transitioned into the middle school visual arts teacher position during my second year at David Lawrence. 

  • Taught middle school art classes for grades 6th-8th in the 3D and digital arts.

  • Created and implemented curriculum focused on the elements and principles of art and design, while helping student figure out their own voices and self-expression.

  • Developed creative and effective lessons fin Digital media Photography I and II, Visual Arts II and Design.

  • Photography students developed their skills in analog photography utilizing darkroom and developing techniques as well as editing their own digital photographs in Adobe Photoshop CSS.

  • Visua Art II students utilized graphite, pen and ink, watercolor, acrylic and other materials to create personally expressive projects.

  • Design students acquired skills with Adobe Illustrator through a variety of projects that discussed typography, composition and design. 

  • Assisted with exhibition of student artwork at the Watertown Arsenal Mall.
