Color Theory in Digital Photography
During our Composition Unit students focused on contrast for a variety of projects diving deeply into color contrast. This opened up an opportunity for better understanding in Color Theory. Throughout various photographing and editing projects students explored complimentary colors, colorful vs. neutral, and warm vs. cool colors.
Photography III
Photo 3 students are challenged to come up with their own self directed concepts. Each student is required to produce 15 photographs. These photographs will demonstrate their strong technical skills in photographing as well as editing. Formal and informal critiques happen throughout the semester as the students work hard to produce their concepts. Their work is then combined in a book format using Blurb.com. The final product is a professional published book showing off a mature body of work!
In addition students explored other projects- like the woven self portraits seen in the gallery.

Unfortunately I do not have as many examples from their books and the quality of these photos are not as good as the originals...
