Color Theory in Digital Photography
During our Composition Unit students focused on contrast for a variety of projects diving deeply into color contrast. This opened up an opportunity for better understanding in Color Theory. Throughout various photographing and editing projects students explored complimentary colors, colorful vs. neutral, and warm vs. cool colors.
Form and Value: OP Art
This project was a culmination of understanding between the difference of form vs shape paired with their knowledge of demonstration of shading to create value. Students enjoyed creating an optical illusion that played on the viewers eyes both when facing the artwork from the front and from the side.
