Color Theory in Digital Photography
During our Composition Unit students focused on contrast for a variety of projects diving deeply into color contrast. This opened up an opportunity for better understanding in Color Theory. Throughout various photographing and editing projects students explored complimentary colors, colorful vs. neutral, and warm vs. cool colors.
Wire Portraits
Students explored LINE in a variety of projects. Their knowledge was built up through presentation, practice and observation, which allowed them to freely explore it on their own in a variety of ways. The wire portrait project started with contour drawings and blind contour drawings. The idea that the line is continuous. This was then translated into wire.
